Note that in inheritance cases, while the parents, spouse and children are entitled to inheritance of their deceased, the Montenegro law restricts direct involvement of females/Women in such circumstances to be presented as a beneficiary to inheritance cases. Therefore, in the procedure of inheritance cases, if the only surviving party is a woman or lady, the law requires the woman or lady to present a male/man next-of-kin or beneficiary for the inheritance case. Furthermore, according to the law the male beneficiary or next-of-kin is automatically entitled to 80% of the inheritance.
